Spool Valve
Once pressure is developed by pumps , the out put is controlled by Spool valve. The spool valve either direct the oil to the pumps or back to tank . A relief valve limit the pressure of the oil safe level.
Our design incorporates the big trust on SPOOL Valve , when switched off both the pressure line and return line are connected to the tank
Whenever hydraulic Motor is running, it develop high rotational inertia which means that when switched off, it continues to turn, and the oil has no where to go high pressure can develop as motor stops, which a SPOOL Valve , acting as gear box in neutral in a car.
Since motor running on once direction, it gives the advantage that return line pressure as low as possible and we don’t take the feed and return through Valve and we feed from Valve
We stop the engines if oil is leaked or no oil in tank
We run three line system and 3rd line is drain line for motor seal and it helps the reliability . The drain line fed back to top of the tank without going through the filter and since flow is very low and does not need filtration process
Temperature shut down system has been installed which switches engines off when temperature reaches higher level.
Run dry ability of pump

A relief valve limit the pressure of the oil safe level and hence oil always will be there on pumps and Incase of no oil in power pack, the engine will not start as sensor sent the signal to switch off the engine.
Ability to pump slurry and water
All SLD series are designed only for slurry and water as it has ability ratio of 70:30 . 70 Solids and 30% water. Basically it designed from our Electrical slurry pumps where Hydraulic remain same and except driven by hydraulic motor
Temperature gauges fitted
Temperature gauges fitted on Tank and as well as sensors. As soon as reached the temperature level, it switches off the engine as prime mover. Since we are cooling the return oil through mini cooler, oil temperature are well maintained
Automatic pressure release valves (not sure if this is a thing on hydraulic units?)
Yes . it is on power pack and not on motor.

Size of radiator – suitable for 60 deg C?
For 60 degree, we need to have a deration of 20% more to handle 60 C hence , we need a 45Kw Power engine power plus 20% more- Hence 54kw powered engine would be sufficient to handle 60 Degree C for 38kw power requirement. This is how, power pack can handle 60deg C.
Length of hydraulic hoses – 20m
Yes We will be providing ng 20 mtr hose for three lines . Feeder, return and drain.
Level indicator in hydraulic oil tank fitted
Yes. It is part of power pack and level indicator plus temperature .
Is it possible to fix hydraulic oil cooler in radiator side rather than as a separate part above the power pack unit. Air management will be difficult if we may convert this pump with closed canopy for our oil & gas projects.
Yes it would be possible as it should be radiator side only
Is there any separate pressure gauge available for the hydraulic unit?.
Technically No. But through F&P tester, we can test the flow and temperature. Basically it is
Used for testing purpose and not in field – However you can buy and keep it for checking
Purpose whether required flow is happening and temperature control etc
Type of coupling for the hydraulic hoses & is there any cover available to close the fittings( feed & return line) when pumps are idle
Since we are using quick fix ( Stucchi- Made in Italy ) catalogues is attached and ready made protective caps are available if we use Stucchi )and use it as cover. Other cover can’t be used
Are the bearings are independent from hydraulic gear motor?. If not, load on the pump may affect motor performance
This is part of HAWE Hydraulic Motor. It is independent and will not affect the motor as well as pumps.
Mechanical seal material? ( both inboard & outboard)
For Hydraulic motor which runs the slurry pumps – The mechanical is Viton as standard we use and with HAWE hydraulic motor and Pumps – I guess it is Viton or NBR. We need to specify if we looking for specific application to the manufacturers when we place the orders

Method of engaging/ disengaging power pack unit from engine
The entire power pack unit is single unit which is bolted on Engine Skid and as well as hydraulic pump is directly connected to Engine through Stuff shaft method and hence it is easy remove and fix it
