The numerical simulation can provide accurate information on the fluid behavior in the machine and thus helps engineers to obtain a thorough performance evaluation of a particular design. As the experimental way can only give the actual value of head developed power rating and efficiency it is not possible to predict internal flow conditions and characteristics in the components like volute casing, impellers etc., for this reason we conduct CFD analysis for complex geometries. This minimizes production development time and cost and also design modification are easily done.
